Review
This is album is the follow up to Less Than Jake's best CD
Losing Streak. Although it does come very close to being the best, it falls
short in a couple of areas. Let me start of by saying that this is the debut
album for Pete, the new trombone player (Jessica, the sax player, left the
band for some apparent reason). Since they only have one sax and two trombones
now, (instead of having two sax and one trombone while Jessica was in the
band) they have an overall "happier", lighter tone. While this
doesn't take away from the music at all, it's rather different than past
outings. Another thing I've noticed from this album, is that it focuses
on the horns more so than previous recordings. But overall, this is a solid
CD that no fan
of Less Than Jake should miss.
